I bought the 3year warranty and they tell me it's not covered when it'due south not draining, causing information technology to smell horrible and all my wearing apparel are soured later every wash. They smell better dingy than when they come out of the washer subsequently being washed. Had service men out but every time they request parts they get denied. Worst purchase I have ever made!!! Would not purchase another LG product e'er!! May never purchase from Lowes either since I cannot get any assist with these problems!!

Plainly there are issues with the high RPM speeds creating suction and imploding the drinking glass on the door. Worst part was the machine connected its spin cycle with pes long shards of glass - give thanks god no one was near it. Not sure why LG has not recalled this washer. There are numerous accounts of this happening, all with small loads. Lowe's customer service is great - LG's customer service is non. Still waiting on this prophylactic risk to get removed from my house :/ Gave information technology two stars for being crawly upwards until information technology converted to the dark side and became a scary death auto.

[This review was collected every bit function of a promotion.] Bought the set to supplant my onetime set I had for over 15 years. I'grand so glad that I didn't sink money into the erstwhile gear up. The newer washers and dryers are so much more energy efficient now compared to then. I've used this almost daily with no problems whatsoever! No leakage equally others have mentioned. It cleans my clothes well, spins them out very nicely wich conserves energy drying my clothes. This is very quiet and hardly notice noise while spinning the clothes out. I LOVE the trivial chime it gives at the terminate of the bike to allow me know my clothes are done, information technology's so pretty!! I beloved the color, it looks mod and fresh and when the console lights up, WOW, cute!!!

Rated three out of five by Couldbehappier from Good Features - One Glaring Negative [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the plus side, the washer washes well, is relatively quiet and is well counterbalanced. No complaints with the intended function of the washer. On the negative side, the LCD brandish console is Non backlit and is very hard to read without a flashlight. This panel seems to be a cost reduced version of the display panel on my prior LG washer. Information technology's unfortunate that the user interface customers must interact with every time they use the washer cannot be easily read due to the lack of backlighting. In my stance, LG included a marginally useful WiFi interface that some users may employ simply failed in providing a good, legible backlit LCD brandish that all users volition need.

I know at that place is less water than summit load washers. This one barely gets some clothes damp! I no longer expect to have dress come out clean, worn to practice complete a little k work. I just paid for a service fee because no error codes were showing up. If there is whatever possible way, in the very near future, I will have this ane, purchased six months ago, taken to the waste disposal and purchase a dissimilar washer. You can be sure, the purchase will not be an LG product. I have other LG appliances, merely this will exist the last LG product I always buy.

The LEDs are then bright it is nearly incommunicable to read the printed options on the panel. In a laundry room with relative good lighting, the print on the panel is nearly illegible even when the car isn't on. The selector dial is poor design, too. The indicator light is bright merely lights beyond the surface area yous may be selected so it's non always obvious which blazon wash cycle you lot are choosing. The smartphone feature sounds cool but I tin't connect the washer to my phone and then it's pointless. If I could have bought the same quondam LG front end loader I have had for 12 years, I would have just you don't brand information technology whatever more than :-(

It is likewise serenity, fifty-fifty during fast spin. The merely pocket-size improvement I would recommend is that LG make the control panel more readable. It has a dark panel with faint lettering but the indicator lights behind the settings are bright.

However, I wish that I would take realized that the words on the black control panel do non low-cal up. I take to apply a flashlight to meet the words if I desire to modify from warm water to cold, etc. A small light beside the word cold lights upwards to allow you know what you have chosen but the word itself is non lit up. According to LG, the washer is designed to exist used in an expanse that is well lit. There are two overhead light fixtures in the surface area where my washer is located.
